Aznar participará en el Congreso Mundial Judío en Jerusalén

El ex presidente del Gobierno José María Aznar participará mañana en el Congreso Mundial Judío , que se celebra desde ayer en Jerusalén, donde pronunciará una conferencia sobre la importancia de defender el Estado de Israel.

Según fuentes próximas al ex presidente, al encuentro también asisten el presidente de Israel, Simón Peres, y el viceprimer ministro de Defensa del país, Ehud Barak, entre otros.
Aznar, quien actualmente preside la Fundación para el Análisis y los Estudios Sociales (FAES), impartirá la conferencia "Defending Israel to defend ourselves" ("Defender Israel para defendernos") a las 13:00 hora local en el centro Beit Shmuel de la capital israelí.
El Congreso Mundial Judío, una de las mayores organizaciones hebreas del mundo, reúne desde hoy y durante dos días a doscientos líderes bajo el lema 'We stand by Israel' ("Estamos con Israel").
Peres es el encargado de inaugurar esta reunión, que también contará con la presencia de la líder de la oposición al Gobierno israelí, Tzipi Livni.
