CCOO ha argumentado las próximas protestas basándose en "los años de ajustes, congelaciones salariales y pérdidas de poder adquisitivo", y en que después de casi dos años negociando el convenio colectivo del sector no haya habido prácticamente avances.

La Federación de la Enseñanza de CCOO ha convocado concentraciones, del 23 al 26 de febrero, contra la precariedad laboral de los docentes en el primer ciclo de Educación Infantil, la que abarca de cero a tres años, y ha animado a las familias a sumarse a "la dignificación" de este colectivo.

La "pretensión patronal" de fijar la retribución de los educadores infantiles en torno a los 900 euros mensuales o de que los maestros aumenten su jornada laboral es "indignante, vergonzosa y muestra su más absoluto ninguneo a la encomiable labor de estos colectivos", ha señalado este lunes CCOO en un comunicado. Ha criticado que la educación en la etapa más temprana vaya a dejar de ser una prioridad "para convertirse en un negocio cuya única preocupación es la rentabilidad económica".

Los trabajadores "no pueden seguir sosteniendo sobre sus espaldas los costes de una crisis que no generaron, mientras que las patronales, con su actitud inmovilista en la mesa negociadora, parecen querer perpetuar la situación", han recalcado.
